2025 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge Officially Launched at OYDC Zambia
The 2025 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge was officially launched today at OYDC Zambia marking the beginning of another exciting season of youth sports development in the country.
In his opening remarks, OYDC Zambia Acting CEO, Mr. Benjamin Tembo, expressed deep gratitude to the dedicated partner and sponsor, Mr. Coen Teulings, for his unwavering commitment and generous support towards youth sports development.
“I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to our dedicated partner and sponsor, Mr. Coen Teulings, whose unwavering commitment and generous support have made this initiative possible. Through his vision and investment in youth sports, thousands of young Zambian athletes have been empowered with opportunities to excel. Sir, we truly appreciate your invaluable contribution to sports development in Zambia,” Mr. Tembo stated.
He further encouraged the young athletes present, emphasizing that this platform provides them with an opportunity to train, compete fairly, and strive for excellence. “To all the young athletes present here today, this is your stage an opportunity to train hard, compete fairly, and strive for excellence. We look forward to another season of thrilling competition, teamwork, and talent discovery.”
The official launch of the 2025 Games was conducted by the Guest of Honor, the Chairperson of the Sports Development Committee Mr Dan Chiteule who was represented by Ms. Carol Moono. In her speech, she underscored the significance of fostering young talent and strengthening sports development in Zambia.
“As we embark on this exciting new season, let us remain committed to working together, fostering young talent, and strengthening sports development in Zambia. To all the young athletes here today train hard, stay disciplined, and keep believing in your dreams. This platform is for you, and your journey to greatness starts here,” she stated.
She further extended gratitude to all sponsors and partners who continue to make the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge a success. “I extend my deepest gratitude to our sponsors, partners, and all stakeholders who continue to make this Challenge a success. Together, we are shaping the future of Zambian sport.”
