Teulings Youth Sports Challenge Welcomes Table Tennis as Football, Teqball, and Baseball5 kick start the new season.

The 2025 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge kicked off with great excitement, marking the highly anticipated addition of table tennis alongside the season openers for football, teqball, and Baseball5. The OYDC Zambia men’s football team started their campaign on a high note with a 1-0 victory, while baseball and teqball also energized the competition, creating a dynamic and competitive atmosphere as teams fought for early-season momentum.
Coach Humfrey Kapula of Garden Table Tennis Academy expressed his delight at table tennis making an exciting debut to the Teulings league. He extended his gratitude to the sponsors and OYDC for securing the sport’s place in the league, emphasizing the importance of such competitions in nurturing young athletes.
National table tennis referee Danniel Chungu echoed this enthusiasm, highlighting the league’s role in expanding the talent pool and preparing players for international competitions.
“Being part of the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge is exciting. This platform will help develop players’ skills and strengthen their participation in international tournaments,” he stated.
