2022 OYDC Sporting Season Launched

Young talented athletes were on 5th March in a state of jubilation as the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre launched the 2022 sporting season. Over 280 athletes from basketball, hockey and beach volleyball turned up to witness the launch which was graced by National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) president Alfred Foloko. OYDC to host Antony Mwamba memorial tournament

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre will on Saturday 5th March host the Antony Mwamba memorial boxing tournament. The tournament has been organized by Exodus Boxing Promotions and Midlands Boxing Association. Exodus Boxing Promotions Director Christian Kalima says all is set and weighing of boxers will begin at 9:00hrs. Kalima has since called on all clubs and boxers to turn up in numbers and be part of the tournament.

OYDC SET TO LAUNCH 2022 SPORTING SEASON OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre will be launching the 2022 Sporting season on 5th March 2022. The launch will see the commencement of the Teulings/OYDC Youth Sports Challenge which has eleven sports codes.  The launch is expected to start at 09:00hrs CAT and will see about 280 athletes competing in basketball, hockey and beach volleyball. Handball Association of Zambia unveils jersey for women’s team as they prepare for Guinea Games

By Noah Silomba Handball Association of Zambia (HAZ) has unveiled a new jersey for the women’s national team scheduled to travel to Conakry, Guinea for the Africa Junior Women Team Championship, slated between 17-27 February 2022.
