Three judokas leave for Hungary

Three judokas based at Dunavassany training Centre in Budapest, Hungary Mathews Punza, Andrew Kaswanga and Stephen Mun’gandu left Zambia on Saturday 7th April, 2018 for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games preparations. Government urges Commonwealth Games bound athletes to mint medals

Zambian boxer Benny Muziyo on Saturday 17th March, 2018 flogged Malawian boxer Elias Kassim through a technical knockout in 10 seconds during the international friendly boxing tournament organised by the Zambia Boxing Federation (ZBF) and staged at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC). Podium Performance Programme meeting attracts over 10 sports administrators

Over 10 sports administrators are attending the first Podium Performance Programme (PPP) planning meeting for the year 2018, which is taking place at the Olympic Youth Development Centre. The meeting whose theme is “Towards Tokyo 2020-Sustainable support to high performance athletes to achieve Podium Performance” has been organised by the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development. OYDC hosts 2018 swimming gala
