Matero Magic dominates Teulings weekend games

The Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) on Saturday 14th April, 2018 hosted 15 Basketball teams for the 3 on 3 Teulings Youth Sports Basketball Challenge. The weekend games saw Matero Magic girls team beat Mapoloto 16 – 9. Three judokas leave for Hungary

Three judokas based at Dunavassany training Centre in Budapest, Hungary Mathews Punza, Andrew Kaswanga and Stephen Mun’gandu left Zambia on Saturday 7th April, 2018 for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games preparations. Government urges Commonwealth Games bound athletes to mint medals

Minister in the Office of the Vice President Sylvia Chalikosa, has urged the 38 athletes to mint medals at the 2018 Gold Coast Games in Australia and bring honor to the nation. Muziyo, knocks out Malawian boxer

Zambian boxer Benny Muziyo on Saturday 17th March, 2018 flogged Malawian boxer Elias Kassim through a technical knockout in 10 seconds during the international friendly boxing tournament organised by the Zambia Boxing Federation (ZBF) and staged at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC). Boxing coach Mudenda happy with pugilists

Boxing National team coach Wisdom Mudenda, has expressed confidence that his boxers will outclass Malawian boxers ahead of the “Zambia Malawi” boxing tournament to be staged at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) on 17 March, 2018. Podium Performance Programme meeting attracts over 10 sports administrators

Over 10 sports administrators are attending the first Podium Performance Programme (PPP) planning meeting for the year 2018, which is taking place at the Olympic Youth Development Centre. OYDC hosts 2018 swimming gala
