Prince Mumba a Zambian former track and field athlete and currently president of the Prince Africa Track Foundation has donated over 50 pairs of shoes to the OYDC Zambia to be distributed to athletes. Teulings Beach volleyball coordinator Isaac Tembo has disclosed that there is a need for athletes to balance sport with education. The African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region 5 Chief Executive Officer Stanley Mutoya has disclosed that the Council plans to make the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre a satellite for the Podium Performance Programme.
