OYDC ATHLETES CONTINUE REIGNING SUPREME Athletes belonging to clubs owned by the OYDC Zambia have continued to reign supreme by showcasing and winning the youthful competitions they participate in. With over nineteen sports disciplines at the facility, athletes from the OYDC Taekwondo club on Saturday 19 August 2023 won the group ‘Poomsae’ showcase against Black Angels in the U12 age category. The OYDC Teqball club shocked opponents Olympafrica with a splash win in the eight games the two teams had in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge. The games staged on 12 August 2023 were also used by players to prepare for the upcoming teqball national tournament to be held from 9 to 10 September 2023 at OYDC Zambia and organised by Teqball Zambia. ZAMBIA HOCKEY TEAMS LEAVE FOR HARARE

Zambia hockey teams whose home ground is the OYDC Zambia Thursday morning left for Harare Zimbabwe for an international friendly competition. The competition will run from 11 to 13 August 2023 and both nations will use the friendly games to prepare for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Qualifiers games to be hosted by South Africa later in the year.
