U20 & U17 Handball teams training at OYDC

The male U20 & U17 are currently training at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) in preparation of the Africa Nations Cup to be hosted in Morocco from 7 to 14 September 2018. It’s a wrap! 2018 Africa Netball Championship

Zambia successfully hosted the 2018 Africa Netball Championship from 13 to 18 August at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC). The tournament was organised by the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development, International Netball Federation and the Netball Association of Zambia. The tournament was supported by different partners among them Zamtel, Trade Kings, Cavmont Bank, ZESCO, ZNBC, NSCZ, HIGER, Zambian Breweries, and many others. OYDC hosts African Netball Championship

The Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) will from 13th to 18th August, 2018 host the Africa Netball Championship. Seven countries namely Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Zambia the host will be competing in the games being used as world cup qualifiers. 20 netball players from the Zambia netball national team have been camped at the OYDC in preparation of the prestigious games. U18 Hockey Team Qualifies For 2018 Youth Olympic Games

Zambia beat Kenya 4-1 in a hockey semi-final match played on 25th July, 2018 at the Youth African Games in Algeria. U18 Zambia hockey team leaves for Algeria

The U18 Zambia male hockey team which was camped at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) through the support of the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) has left for Algiers, Algeria ahead of the African Youth Games slated for 18th to 28th July, 2018. OYDC donates “crutches”

The Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) donated crutches to Danny Simangolwa of Chililabombwe Municipal Council. The crutches were received by her worship the mayor of Chililabombwe Municipal Council Mrs. Christabel Mulala. OYDC Director Dr. Fredrick Chitangala, presented the crutches to the mayor when she visited the multisport facility during the Zambia Local Authorities Sports Association (ZALASA) recently hosted at the Olympic Youth Development Centre. Gosiewski an inspirational to many judokas in Zambia

The U18 male hockey team is camped at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) in preparation for the qualifiers Youth Africa Games in Algeria.
