As the 2023 African Games come to a close in Accra, Ghana Team Zambia has recorded fifteen (15) medals in total in five sports disciplines. In athletics Zambia has (3) medals, (1) Gold in the men’s 4×400 relay final, (1) silver in the men’s 400m final through Muzala Samukonga, and (1) silver in the women’s 4×400 relay final. MUZALA SAMUKONGA WINS SILVER MEDAL AT AFRICAN GAMES

2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games 400m gold medalist Muzala Samukonga has minted silver medal in the men’s 400m final race at the African Games. Samukonga clocked 45.37s to secure silver for Zambia. Nigeria’s Okezie Anthony won gold with the time of 45.06s while Diouf Tidiane of Senegal got bronze after clocking 45.49s. 2024 TEULINGS LEAGUE GAMES TAKING SHAPE

The 2024 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge on Saturday entered its second league game with four sports disciplines being played. The disciplines taekwondo, judo, football and netball saw several athletes competing for supreme. Over 200 athletes were at the centre representing different teams and clubs.
