Lusaka Sharks gets swimming caps
Amelia Fletcher, a student at St Andrews University in Scotland has donated 20 swimming caps to Lusaka Sharks Swimming team which trains from the Olympic Youth Development Centre.
Fletcher, who is part of the Wallace Group, says she decided to make the donation to the swimming team stating she was happy to see young people at the OYDC showcasing their skills which need to be supported by all.
OYDC Programmes Manager Lyson Zulu, received the donated caps on behalf of the swimming team and thanked Fletcher for the donation. OYDC continues to provide facilities to National Federations for talent identification and management; with swimming producing some talent that has shown great potential over the years.
