OVER 200 ATHLETES UNDER GO HEALTH SCREENING AS THEY PARTICIPATE IN TEULINGS GAMES
Over 200 athletes from various sports disciplines at the OYDC Zambia Saturday morning underwent health screening as they prepared to compete in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge.
The athletes are from basketball, beach volleyball and hockey the sports codes part of the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge sponsored by Coen Teulings Chairman of Merifin Capital in Belgium.
Athletes enjoyed accessing health services in ear, nose, throat and eye checks.
And Teulings beach volleyball coordinator Isaac Tembo has expressed appreciation to OYDC Zambia for the continued smooth running of the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge at the sports facility.
Tembo says despite the number of athletes being abit low because some players have returned to school most of the athletes attending the league games are improving their skills every weekend.
He disclosed that some of the players from the Teulings beach volleyball were recently picked by clubs and will be traveling for international competitions.
