OYDC Rugby team tops it all

OYDC Rugby team today beat Chipata Rugby team 30-28 during the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge.

The games took place at the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre where teams like Zanimoune, Chazanga, Mandevu and Matero were part of it.

OYDC Rugby coach Clement Muwele, disclosed that today’s games were tough adding that all the teams were prepared to battle it out.

Muwele, thanked OYDC management for providing facilities to all teams and other sports disciplines such as TeQball and Basketball which had competition on Saturday 29 May, 2021.

Meanwhile in basketball teams like hurricanes, breathe of heaven, fountain of hope, Mapoloto (OYDC) among others had a great competition.

Teulings basketball coordinator Nicolas Phiri, expressed happiness with the league games saying all the teams which were invited turned up for the games.

He added that the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge has helped senior teams and clubs to identify talented young athletes who now play for regional and local games.

And in TeQball LikeUs academy, OYDC, and Olympafrica battled it out.
