OYDC TO GET FACELIFT

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre is set to have some of it’s ‘worn out’ facilities replaced.

This exercise will be done through the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOC) which has been selected among other NOCs in the region to benefit from a sponsorship agreement signed between Association of National Olympic Committees in Africa (ANOCA) and Gerflor a leading renowned flooring company in the world.

The NOCs will benefit from the first phase of the pilot project and OYDC is privileged to be granted a new floor in the indoor multipurpose hall.

Following this great news, OYDC Chief Executive Officer Dr Fredrick Chitangala said “This is absolutely amazing news to hear. We want to pay gratitude to the entire NOCZ executive for their tireless efforts to push for this through ANOCA and it’s partners. We look forward to the time when the other facilities whose lifespan expired will be replaced. Maintaining and replacing these facilities comes with a huge cost and OYDC alone cannot afford hence the need for the corporate and many others to help this Centre which is a home of sports heroes”.
