OYDC ZAMBIA & SOCHEM ENTERPRISE SIGN PATERNSHIP AGREEMENT WORTH OVER K200, 000
OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre has partnered with a local Zambian firm SOCHEMICALS Enterprise the makers of SoClean products to provide sanitary and monetary support to the sports facility.
During the signing ceremony, OYDC Zambia Chief Executive Officer Dr. Fredrick Chitangala, said the Centre wants to associate more with local firms such as SOCHEM Enterprise and ensure that local products and services are promoted even in times when the nation is grappling with the COVID-19. Dr. Chitangala disclosed that with the coming of SOCHEM Enterprise on board, sanitary standards at the multisport facility will continue being enhanced which will result in reducing possible risks of spreading the Coronavirus to facility users and athletes.
“As OYDC, this is the time we have been waiting for to partner with a local firm so we can promote each other. This is a partnership opportunity with SOCHEM Enterprise the manufacturers of SoClean products which are now becoming household names. The agreement we have signed will see OYDC benefiting from sanitary products and monetary support for the next one year” he said.
Dr. Chitangala, has since appealed to other local companies to emulate SOCHEM Enterprise and consider partnering with Zambia’s biggest multisport facility, which is the Centre of Excellence with a record of producing future Olympians.
And SOCHEM Enterprise founder Solomon Ng’ambi, disclosed that his firm will consider more partnership agreements with the OYDC Zambia, which he said will go beyond the signed twelve months.
“As SOCHEM, we are looking beyond twelve months partnership. We are humbled that we have partnered with the OYDC, we hope other people out there will do the same. Our aim is to not only provide monetary support but to also make sure that the Centre is clean with SoClean products” he said.
