Triple B handball coach eyes Teulings championship

Triple B handball team coach Etiphen Banda has disclosed that her team has not lost any game in this season’s Teulings Youth Sports Challenge.

She says players always have to focus on the ball whenever they are in action adding that if well nurtured with the same winning spirit they stand a good chance of reigning supreme during the grand finale.
Banda urges parents to make their children join handball saying it is a good sport which helps many children to be physically fit and well behaved.

In addition, she has appealed to the corporate world to support sports disciplines like handball at the grassroots level. During the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge at the weekend, her team thrashed Kasisi handball team 14-4. Other teams which were present include OYDC, Ridgeway, St Eugene, Kamwala, Mabochi, Blue Wood Ndeke and Misisi.

Meanwhile, Teqball was another sports discipline under the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge which took place with athletes from Olympiafrica and OYDC competing.

About 300 athletes from handball and teqball enjoyed the games which the OYDC Zambia organized.
