OYDC Zambia, Teachers PE & Sports Workshop Foundation Level kicks off

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre has organized a three days “Teachers PE & Sports Workshop” foundation level which has kicked off today.

The workshop which will come to a close on Wednesday, 14 August, 2019 has attracted over 20 teachers representing different schools across the country.

OYDC Zambia Chief Executive Officer Dr. Fredrick Chitangala, welcomed the teachers and hinted the importance of the workshop which is going to be beneficial to all the participants.

Dr. Chitangala, disclosed that some of the topics that will be looked at during the workshop are Fundamentals and Principles of Physical Education, Designing PE Programme for children, Introduction to safe sport, Ethics in Sport and Managing the Health of athletes, Understanding the Zambia Physical Education Curriculum and many others.

He added that those who still want to come and be part of the workshop are welcome to come to the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre and register for K1, 500.00 only.

The workshop is being facilitated by experienced and trained personnel from University of Zambia, Football Association of Zambia, Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development, National Olympic Committee of Zambia, Zambia Amateur Athletics Association, Zambia Volleyball Association, Zambia Basketball Association & OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre.
