NOCZ president Foloko urges athletes to utilize OYDC Matebeto Restaurant

National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) president ALFRED Foloko, has implored athletes in the country to make use of the OYDC Zambia Matebeto Restaurant.

Foloko, says athletes in the country deserve to eat well-balanced meals hence the need to make use of the OYDC Matebeto Restaurant.

He disclosed this when NOCZ Athletes Commission member Sydney Siame, who is also the 2019 All Africa Games 200m gold medalist joined him for a meal on Saturday, 28 November 2020. The duo was also joined by OYDC Zambia Chief Executive Officer Dr Fredrick Chitangala, who said the Centre is grateful that athletes such as Siame and many others have their meals from the Centre’s Matebeto Restaurant.

Dr Chitangala, added that many young athletes who visit and train from the OYDC are always happy and inspired when they see Siame at the multiport facility as they usually seek guidance from him in their quest to become future Olympians.

The Matebeto Restaurant at OYDC has become a household name as many local celebrities such as actors, musicians, sports icons and media personalities have their meals from a beautiful clean sports environment as they admire fascinating facilities.
