Former Matero MP Chance Kabaghe Tours OYDC Zambia

Former Matero Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock (2003), Mr. Chance Kabaghe, toured the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre. He was accompanied by National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) President Alfred Foloko and Zambia Athletics (ZA) President Elias Mpondela

Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly welcomed by OYDC Zambia’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Benjamin Tembo, and his team. The visit aimed to provide Mr. Kabaghe with an overview of the facility’s infrastructure and its role in nurturing young athletes in Zambia.

During the tour, Mr. Kabaghe explored various sports facilities, including the swimming pool, judo and boxing arenas, the multipurpose hall, and the OYDC lodge. He was impressed by the centre’s commitment to fostering sports development and providing a platform for young athletes to excel in various disciplines.

To conclude the visit, Mr. Tembo made a comprehensive presentation to the delegation, outlining the facility’s strategic plans, upcoming projects, and areas requiring further investment and support.
