OYDC ZAMBIA APPOINTS ENG. ELTON ZULU AS NEW TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Eng. Elton Zulu as the Centre’s new Technical Director.

OYDC Zambia is delighted to welcome Elton Zulu, a highly accomplished Zambian sports management and technical sports professional with over 10 years of experience across sports event management, competition management, sports facility operations, technical officiating, electronic timing, results management, anti-doping and sports administration.

Elton brings to OYDC Zambia a wealth of experience gained from national, regional, continental and international sporting events. His leadership experience includes serving as Acting Stadium Manager and Head ICT & Maintenance at National Heroes Stadium, where he was involved in stadium operations, facility management, sporting events, stakeholder coordination and event execution.

His technical expertise, particularly in athletics and other sporting disciplines, coupled with his extensive experience working with sports federations and international sporting organisations, will be a valuable addition to OYDC Zambia.

He holds a Master of Sport Management from the Dream Together Master Program at Seoul National University and has undertaken specialised sports education through the International Olympic Committee, World Athletics and other international sporting organisations.

As OYDC Zambia continues to strengthen its technical capacity and contribute to the development of sport in Zambia, we are confident that Elton’s expertise, leadership and experience will make a meaningful contribution to our mandate.
